Obituary of Robert Henry Bertram

Robert Henry Bertram, B.A., L.L.B. Bob’s beautiful heart stopped beating on September 30, 2015. He was surrounded by his loving family. He was an exemplary husband, father and grandfather and a man of integrity and a true gentleman. He was predeceased by his son Craig in 2008. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Marilyn of 41 ½ years, his children Keith (Donna), Jeff, Kim (Scott), Mark and grandson Jared (Ian), and his dearest family friend Anne Miller with her unwavering love and support. Bob was Past President of the YMCA and Dolphin’s Swim Clubs; Past District Governor of Lions International 5 CE Sask; Past Council Chairman of Multiple District 5 Sask., North Dakota and South Dakota; Past Honorary Solicitor of Canadian Legion; and received the Melvin Jones award for Lionism. He was awarded a Life Membership of the Law Society of Sask. He loved the law and considered his past law partners with the utmost respect. And he loved the Blue Jays. It was always “top of the ninth”. He is just a “heartbeat away”. Good Night Sweet Prince. Special thanks for the excellent care he received from the medical staff of the Pasqua Hospital 4c unit.
